El presidente de la Junta de Andalucía, Juanma Moreno, ha garantizado que las obras de la nueva gran infraestructura hospitalaria con la que contará la ciudad de Málaga, el llamado tercer hospital, se pondrán en marcha en esta legislatura, con lo que se pasará de las palabras a los hechos. Por su parte, el consejero de la Presidencia, Elías Bendodo, ha asegurado este jueves que la Junta tendrá el anteproyecto del tercer hospital redactado en el verano de 2020 y que en esta legislatura se iniciarán las obras en los terrenos del Hospital Civil.
