Agentes de la Policía Nacional han detenido en Torremolinos a un joven de 20 años y nacionalidad rumana por su presunta implicación en cuatro robos perpetrados en otros tantos apartamentos y establecimientos hosteleros de la localidad. El investigado supuestamente estaba especializado en la comisión de robos mediante la modalidad 'soñarrero', como se le conoce en el argot policial, que consiste en entrar a robar en domicilios u otros inmuebles en horas nocturnas mientras las víctimas duermen. La investigación se inició a primeros de septiembre tras detectarse un incremento en el número de robos con fuerza en domicilios de Torremolinos cometidos bajo un mismo modus operandi. De esta manera, sustraía efectos de valor, principalmente joyas, dinero en efectivo y vehículos.
